Service Application 1:

PRESERVING NATURAL AND CULTURAL HERITAGE – Virtual National Parks
Each day we are losing large parcels of our natural environment, as well as important world heritage sites. These sites are gateways to both our past and future, and offer important insights into our various cultures. Essential to understanding where we have been and need to go, preservation of these sites is a global imperative. OPEN is committed to digitally preserving and promoting important heritage sites around the world, by developing new immersive 3D narrative-based curriculums about these parks, making these sites available to children, their families and schools.

Contact us if you are interesting in preserving a particular National Park or World Heritage site .

Service Application 2:

Providing Families Meaningful Play
While many learning environments are designed to be used in schools with support from teachers, many families would benefit from using these at home as well. Most parents now have access to these powerful new digital media teaching and learning tools which they now can explore together with their children. OPEN is committed to making fun and engaging collaborative learning environments such as our upcoming Virtual National Parks series available to families at an affordable price.

BRINGING CORPORATE AND INSTITUTIONAL SUPPORT FOR 21ST CENTURY EDUCATION TECHNOLOGY TO SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITIES WORLDWIDE
Educators across the country and around the globe are seeing the value of bringing exciting new educational technologies into the classroom. But many school systems do not have the financial resources to adopt the powerful new educational technologies that can help them reach and motivate all of their students. OPEN is committed to those schools and communities by recruiting corporate and organizational (not-for-profits, NGOs, etc.) support for school systems and communities – especially those most in need. OPEN will provide these corporations and organizations with significant CSR and OSR opportunities that highlight how their support will help equip our students with the skills to successfully compete in the global economy. With complementary funding OPEN will also develop new real world-based 3D learning applications on global topics that will both support these organizations’ missions and the life goals of our students.

Contact us if you wish to support this OPEN Service Application Initiative.

Service Application 4:

Bringing Innovative Curriculum to Schools
Many exciting new curricula are being developed that have the power to engage and motivate students at all levels of the spectrum – from our most gifted to those seriously at risk of dropping out of school. OPEN is committed to identifying and delivering new learning and teaching programs and supporting technologies, making these available to children around the world. One such program we are currently developing covers teen behavioral health issues.

Contact us if you have a powerful curriculum that you want to scale in schools around the world.

Service Application 5:

Fostering Healthy Teen Relationships
Our children are growing up in a complex and rapidly-changing cyber-social world. While they are learning some necessary social skills at school, not all children are learning how to have successful, mutually respectful relationships with their peers and community. The explosion of cyber-bullying is just one example. Of great concern is the proper use of the many new forms of social media – such as Twitter, Facebook, My Space and YouTube. OPEN is committed to helping children learn how to use social media responsibly, both inside school and outside; in a way that supports healthy, respectful relationships with their peers and communities.
